Whether you are on a day trip from Munich to the mountains or whether you are cycling or walking on one of the many pilgrim and hiking trails that lead through Wildsteig – with us you will enjoy a soothing break.
The Stüberl – Ideal for celebrations
Created in 2019, with up to 30 seats, this room has established itself as a sought-after place for small family celebrations. It’s hard to believe that many years ago there was the butcher’s shop, cold rooms and also an office! We think the “Stüberl” is a successful example of the change of time, where a very cozy new guest room has been created with care and a feeling for the conditions, e.g. the old ceiling beams. The Stüberl is ideal for your private family celebration, then you can stay in our cozy country house rooms.
“The Beer Garden”
The restaurant terrace with flower and herb garden is the heart of the Landhotel Kirchberger. In the wind-protected courtyard, under the open sky, with a view of our local mountain “Hohe Bleick” and in the herb and flower garden, it can be endured well in comfortable garden seating. With coffee, homemade cakes and ice cream, a freshly tapped beer and in the evening the extremely ambitious cuisine of our experienced kitchen team, life can be enjoyed! “The barbecue hut”
With space for a maximum of 12 people, our grill kota is ideal for small birthday parties, Christmas parties or cozy get-togethers. The integrated fireplace allows a romantic atmosphere to be ignited, even on cold winter days
or simply serves as a rustic barbecue area with a relaxed ambience. Our fine, specially created grill menu can be put together individually on request and can be expanded as desired.
What distinguishes our kitchen is:
1.) that we all like to eat and enjoy well ourselves
2.) that’s why the quality of the starting product is the be-all and end-all! We process the raw materials of our homeland from selected suppliers:
Meat and sausage products from the “Metzgerei Schuster” next door
Dairy products from the “Schönegger Käsealm”
Fresh fruit and vegetables from Feinkost Frank from Bad Kohlgrub
Freshly caught trout from Wildsteiger waters
Freshly shot venison (deer, deer and chamois) from our own hunt
Eggs and poultry from the fishing farm
Herbs and edible flowers from your own garden
If you list it this way, you only become aware of the abundance of wonderful, regional and sustainable products from which we can draw. We are very grateful for that! Accordingly, we feel obliged to serve you only the best culinary delights with sense and understanding and craftsmanship.
Although no longer the “big” dessert, at least a scoop of homemade ice cream to crown a delicious meal at the Landhotel Kirchberger is a must :).

Restaurant opening hours:
March/April and October/November/December:
Friday and Saturday: 5.00 pm to 10.00 pm
Sunday: 11.30 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.
Wednesday to Sunday: 2.00 pm to 10.00 pm / hot meals: 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm
on public holidays additionally hot meals from 11.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.
Monday and Tuesday closed (for public holidays, the rest days are postponed to the following days)
A beverage fridge is available for our guests on the rest days. You also have the opportunity to choose from a small card between 18.00 and 19.30. We would be pleased if you pre-order breakfast in the evening.
